We were lucky in Jupiter, Florida avoiding most of Irma's wrath. Many others were not. When the lower Keys are open to traffic Tony Capela (one of our yacht brokers) will be taking a truck and trailer full of supplies to Marathon, Florida in the Florida Keys. He will be coordinating efforts with local aid centers there once they are set up. His home in Marathon, luckily, avoided major damage although there is no power, no water and no sewage in the area. There is no timetable announced for recovery of these services. He will be spending much of his time in Marathon until some semblance of ordinary returns.
We are trying to get these supplies to Marathon ASAP! If you are able to donate in the next few days: supplies needed are water, non-perishable food, paper goods and sanitary items.
Please call the office at 561-295-8880 prior to arrival to make sure someone can be there as we are all balancing work with getting our own homes back in order.
For money donations, please share through Tony's wife Pam's charitable paypal page: https://www.paypal.me/IrmaKeysAid
Thank you, sincerely,
The Flagler Yachts Crew
PS: All donations will be tax deductable. Please bring receipt with items to our office.
