Services up to date, and NEW bottom paint 9/2020.  She is the most competitively priced 62 Ocean SS EB on the market, and will NOT disappoint.

The 62 Super Sport’s exterior is characterized by the wraparound contours, soft lines, and unbroken shearline that give every Ocean Yacht model its unmistakable classic American look. She features the streamlined flush forward deck design adopted by Ocean for its largest models. Overall visibility from the helm is excellent.

Inside on the main deck, the accommodations are superb as you would expect in a yacht of this size, from a yacht builder whose standard equipment list continues to be the most generous in its class. The salon is impressive – rich with maple accents, sumptuous fabrics and carpeting. The U-shaped sectional sofa is large and comfortable. There is a handsome high-gloss table and – across the salon by the wet bar with liquor dispenser – a designer chair. A Bose Lifestyle stereo system, a color TV with remote, and a DVD player provide a happy diversion for the Ocean travelers.

The cabinetry on the salon’s starboard side runs seamlessly into the dinette, with a five-place table. Two steps from the dinette is the galley, equipped with a four-burner range, microwave oven, Corian ® sink and countertops, an upright refrigerator / freezer unit, icemaker, instant hotwater dispenser, a trash compactor, and other modern kitchen aids. Drawers and cabinets are ample. There is also a central vacuuming system to make short work of clean up.

Below-deck accommodations are also unstinting of creature comforts from Ocean’s unrivaled standard equipment list. The master stateroom under the salon sole has a queen berth with innerspring mattress, two nightstands, a makeup vanity with stool, full-length mirror, overhead cabinets, two cedar-lined hanging lockers, individual climate controls, an AM/FM stereo with CD player, a color TV with VCR and remote. A bedspread, two shams, two pillows, and a set of fitted sheets are provided. It has its own private head.

The forward VIP stateroom is very nearly the equal of the master, having a large walkaround queen-sized berth with innerspring mattress and convenient access to its own private head. A mirror, two cedar-lined hanging lockers, overhead cabinets, an AM/FM stereo with CD player, a color TV with VCR , and set of fitted sheets are included. It, too, has its own head.

The port guest stateroom offers two single berths with 5” polyfoam mattresses, a cedar-lined hanging locker, color TV / VCR combo, an AM/FM stereo with CD player, a vanity with stool and mirror, and a nightstand.

The crew stateroom features a comfortable bunk, cedar-lined hanging locker, and clothes drawers. In lieu of the standard fourth stateroom, an owner may elect to have a laundry room with washer, dryer, and work table.

The guest and crew staterooms share the convenient day-head.

All three heads have enclosed stall showers, Vacu Flush toilets, Corian countertops, designer wall treatments, custom-tile floors, mirrored medicine cabinets, linen storage, exhaust blowers and attractive fixtures.

Her stringer system is all FRP, filled with two-pound-density foam and heavily tabbed in with six different systems bonding it to the hull. The engines sit on aluminum plates that are encapsulated in fiberglass for strength.

All bulkheads are installed in the mold to ensure the hull maintains its shape; they’re made of Divinycell, as are the saloon and galley soles, hull sides, hardtop, and foredeck. The hull and deck are mated using a shoebox joint; the overlapping deck is fastened to the hull with screws and caulked with Vulkem adhesive. And like all the Super Sports, the 62’s bottom is solid FRP.

This Ocean 62 Super Sport Enclosed Bridge is the complete package. With her solid construction, comfortable and stylish accommodations, large and numerous stowage spaces, and power options, she’s the kind of boat that is, with the addition of her hard-core fishing amenities, as well-adapted to chasing big fish in deep water as she is to cruising.
