Tony Capela, Yacht Broker at Flagler Yachts

Tony was born and raised in Fall River, Massachusetts. His home town is well known for its textile mills that line the river. His first voyage was as a young teenager on an inflatable dump truck tire tube and this first adventure taught him a valuable lesson on how tides work! It was a long walk back home having left his sneakers back on the rocky New England shore. His love of the water intensified after meeting the love of his life Pam, shortly after they were blessed with four children. Tony and his family spent every weekend at their favorite spot called “Pirates Cove”. Tony and Pam raised the kids on various size boats over the years. They spent many summers at Cuttyhunk Island and Martha’s Vineyard. Many of Tony’s fondest memories were watching his children grow up running around on the docks of their favorite summer destination, Block Island off the coast of Rhode Island.

They moved to Florida so that he and his family could spend more time boating and less time shoveling snow. He has since completed his lifelong dreams of navigating the East Coast intracoastal waterway. In addition to cruising much of the New England coast line, he has also enjoyed cruising down to Key West, the Abacos, Bimini and his new favorite destination is the Exumas where there are many remote places to discover and create life long memories. He now has three beautiful granddaughters of his own to share his vast experiences of boating with. He looks forward to being able to help you navigate your way to fulfilling your dreams.
